OUTLOOK 2000 IMPORT/EXPORT

WIN/XP PRO system with Office 2000 Premium installed. User migrating from
Outlook Express to Outlook. Outlook 2000 will not Import/Export. When you
go to FIle/Import and Export - a program exception window pops up with only
one option - OK. When you click on OK, Outlook closes. Win/XP has all
critical updates except SP2 applied. Office has the 1A update applied.
Office SP3 will not sucessfully install. Have uninstalled twice, have
repaired twice. Still the same problem. Can anyone help? Thank you!!

Try exporting from Outlook Express - besides, if you do it this way, it will
preserve all the dates and times of messages received and sent. If you
import within Outlook, all messages will have the time and date stamp when
you did the import.

But the contacts must be exported to a csv from outlook express, and then
imported into outlook - but the import/export of outlook does not work.
