From out of nowhere, when writing a msg or replying to a
msg there is a complete HANG or FREEZE of the writing
text. I have switched from HTLM to Plain Text - same. I
have removed and reinstalled program. I have changed the
keyboard. Hang will not exit program with Ctrl, Alt, Del.
I have waited 30 minutes for hang to respond - still hang.
I must use the restart button on the computer to get back
into windows. Frustrating!!!

Just out of curiousity...how big is your PST file?
Do you use Exchange Server or just a regular ISP?
Do you use any AV (anti-virus) programs on your
desktop? If so, what? and Is it configured to scan
your email?

The .pft file is 18mb. ISP is POP3 with Comcast.net.
Norton AV running and Yes - set to scan emails in and out.
Froze twice yesterday. I have been using this program for
many years and "hang" just started last week. I have
started using Word to compose msgs but still want to find
problem so I can use the Outlook. - Nip
