outlook 2000 forwarding attch problem

I have a user that has win2k pro with outlook 2000 and office 97. When this
user gets an email that is in plain text and tries to forward the message and
attachment it will not send the attachment. He has use word as my email
editor checked and also his emails are set to be Rich Text by default. The
only way he can forward the message and the attachment is if he copy and
pastes the whole email into a new email. When he does a straight forwarding
the message goes but the attachment does not. Any Ideas?

Thanks

When using Word as an email editor, your version of Word must match Outlook
or attachments would be stripped out. Tell the user to stop using Word 97 as
the email editor for Outlook 2000 and switch to either plain text or HTML,
rather than rich text format. This problem in particular affects recipients
not using Outlook.
