When I click on Find a Contact button on the toolbar,
Outlook crashes.

Could it be related to the XP fixes released this week
which I have applied.

I believe I've had this problem before but don't remember
what fixed it.

Any other suggestions?

Locate outcmd.dat and rename it to outcmd.old to reset the Toolbar. See if
it works now

Tips of the month:
-Backup and Restore
-Create an Office XP CD slipstreamed with Service Pack 3

Thank you for your quick response.

Stopped Outlook
Renamed outcmd.dat to outcmd.dat.old
Started Outlook
Click on the Find a Contact button
Outlook crashed.

How should I proceed?

I'm still crashing after these actions:

Stopped Outlook
Renamed outcmd.dat to outcmd.dat.old
Started Outlook
Click on the Find a Contact button
Outlook crashed.

How should I proceed?

Remove the Outlook Address Book Service from your profile and restart
Outlook. Then add it again and restart Outlook once more. Go to Tools->
Address Book and in Address Book Tools-> Options and make sure only your
Contacts folder is listed there
