Outlook 2000 Files

I currently had a hard drive fail. I have a full
backup of the hard drive, however I can't find
where outlook stores the file that contains my
contact list and emails that were presently saved
within outlook. Any help would be much appreciated.

Make sure you include hidden and system files and folders when searching for
pst-file.

By default it is located in
C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook\

you're looking for a file named outlook.pst in the
c:\documents and settings\[username]\local
settings\application data\microsoft\outlook directory
