Hi! Sorry to post this here but the Outlook newsgroup is temporarily closed.
My problem: Running Windows XP Pro with Office 2000. Everytime I exit
Outlook, I receive an error: Microsoft Outlook has encountered a problem and
needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Anyone have any ideas? I
have applied all updates, it is SP-3. Thanx!

Have you tried the "Detect and Repair" option?

Thanx, I have run that already and this is the error message I get: Error
1706. No valid source could be found for product Microsoft Office 2000 SR-1
Proffessional. The Windows installer cannot continue. Yes, this is a legal
copy. Our company paid for multiple installations.

Thanx. I decided to log on as administrator and then had no problem doing
detect and repair, however, that did not change the original problem.
