Outlook 2000 - drag a column header here to group by that column

One of my users is getting a strange field above his
meaggaes in the right (main) pane that's titled:
"drag a column header here to group by that column"
I can't figure out how to get rid of this field?

Anu ideas?

Enable the Advanced toolbar and click the Group By Box button.
