Inbox - "drag a column header here" feature

In Outlook, there is a feature in the Inbox called "drag a column header here
to group by that column" I'd like to turn off. I've already toyed with
View/Customize/Clear/off. It takes up space, and I'd like to get rid of it.
I appreciate your help!

Right-click the view's column headers and toggle the Group By Box command.
