need to remove the field "drag column header" on Inbox

I some how now have a field near the top of my incoming mail that states "
Drag a column header here to group by that column. It is grayed out if no
column is selected to be group. You drag a coulmn from the inbox email in to
the grayed out area and the emails are grouped by that title. I want to
remove that grouping field but I have had no success for the past two days!

Rightclick on a column header (like subject) and deselect the Group By Box
option.
