Outlook 2000 does not ask before sending 3rd party emails

Hi,

We have a Windows XP machine with Outlook 2000 installed on it which is
behaving slightly out of the ordinary compared to other pc's.

What happens is we have a third party application which sends mail through
Outlook and every time it does you get a pop up box asking if you want to
send the email. To get round this we would install Express ClickYes but we
have done that on this pc yet the emails are just going straight out without
asking.

We have tried starting Outlook in Safe mode to see if there is an Addon but
that did not make any difference, has anyone got any other ideas?

Thanks for your help,

Anthony

Isn't that what ClickYes is supposed to do?

Are Service Pack 3 for Office 2000 and additional updates installed on this
machine?
Note that many 3rd party applications have been programmed not to trigger
this alert (as they should). Getting this alert means that they were
programmed in an insecure way.

Hi Roady,

I know this application is not wriiten to avoid the alert we want them to be
asked but in this case it is not happening.

I will find out about the updates for you.
