When sending a new message, Outlook 2000 crashes while
anyone in our office is scrolling thru the public contacts
folder. It always hangs up at the same point and
immediately closes Outlook without any message or error
warning. I thought it might be a corrupt contact file and
deleted the few next to where the system crased but it did
not solve the problem. Any help?

Outlook crashes after about two mouse clicks with an error message, that an error has been encountered and Outlook is closing down. I find that if I open, then allow to automatically synchronise on open, then close allowing automatic synchronise on exit, when I re-open it works OK for a while (4 to 8 hours at times
When I close down, Outlook.exe continues to show in the Task Manager proceses. Others in company who do not have this problem, the process closes in Task Manager. Is there a possibility that Outlook is not shutting down properly. Any Help would be useful.
