Hi

After I run a windows xp repair on a users pc it won't
connect outlook to the exchange server. It gives me a msg
that the domain is unavailable although she logs into the
domain and can use all other network functionality.
I have removed her computer name from the domain, and
recreated it on the domain without hassels but it still
won't connect the outlook to the exchange server.

Any help or suggestions pleaseeee!

Have you recreated/verified the mail profile already in Control Panel->
Mail-> button Show Profiles...?

Yes I have, but it give me an error msg that the domain
is not available,I have also tried to config my own mail
account with the same result. I have also removed outlook
and reinstalled it. But no luck.

Presuming you're using AD, check your DNS settings - all servers and
workstations should specify *only* the internal AD-integrated DNS server's
IP address in their network settings. The AD-integrated DNS server should be
set up with forwarders to your ISP's DNS servers for external resolution.

What version of Exchange are we talking about here? Make sure the DNS
settings are correct. Additionally you might want to remove the PC from the
domain and reïnstall TCP/IP on it and then add the computer to domain again.
