outlook 2000 automatic name checking

how to turn on automatic name checking when typing a new
mail message? in the advanced features automatic name
checking is checked. My boss would like to start typing an
e-mail address and before he is finished selected names
begin to appear?

Feature was added in Outlook 2002. Outlook 2000 only has autoresolution.
