My outlook 2000 sparatically removes attachments I send
out (not incoming). I attach the file and send the e-mail.
The sent folder says it was attached when it left, but my
recipients are not receiving on the other end. A few items
to help define the problem:
1) There have been various recipients this has happened
to, not just one.
2) It does not happen to all recipients and is sparatic,
although it is consistently happening to the same group of
recipients.
3) These recipients have no problem at all receiving
attachments from others
4) It has nothing to do with my virus protection I have
installed myself (I have sent with the protection disabled
and have even uninstalled).
5) I can receive attachments no problem from anyone.
6) it is not my ISP - I can mail attachments to the
recipients it has failed on before from the ISP website
and from outlook express, just not from Outlook 2000
7) I did notice one posting referencing a past post
on "Level 1 security" and attachment problems, but could
not locate the referenced post.
7) I have searched through the help section of outlook and
spent many hours on this site as well and cannot find the
answer I'm looking for - just as an FYI for those of you
who I have seen posting rude messages stating to look
before you post - I did look for quite some time. I
realize the answer to my question may be posted here -
somewhere, but this section contains 306 pages of help
that will take me weeks to go through.
