Outlook 2000 and Virus Scanning

I ran some McAfee Office cleaning tools and it corrupted
VirusScan so I tried uninstalling to reinstall with no
success. I eventually had to remove it manually and all
went well. I reinstalled a new copy of McAfee VirusScan
7.0 Pro and all went well. Now when I start up Outlook
2000 there aren't any references to Virus Scanning on the
Tools Menu like there were with McAfee Office. And I've
looked at the Add-Ins and I have no clue what to do
there. Can anyone please help me get that functionality
back? This is no time to be unprotected!!!

Thanks!
Angel

After some hair pulling and nail biteing and some creative
word usage I figured it out. I shut down Outlook and
renamed the EXTEND.DAT file and let Outlook recreate it
when I restarted it. Everything is back to normal. I
hope this fiasco can help someone else!

Thanks,
Angel
