Outlook 2000 and mailto:

Gary Carter

Hello,

In an outlook 2000 message, if I include a url in the message, outlook 2000
turns it blue so that I can click on it to open internet explorer. But if I
type an email address, it does not turn blue. The only way I can get it to
work is to prefix it with mailto:. Outlook express does not require the
mailto: prefix. Is there any way to get Outlook 2000 to work the same ??

Thanks a lot,

Gary

Yep, and IIRC for Outlook 2000 it only worked when composing in HTML format.
