Mailto: Default

I there a way to change the mailto: default? There is currently Outlook XP
installed on the computer and Outlook is the default e-mail in Internet
Explorer. However, when you click on a mailto: link in a message using
Outlook XP the computer starts Outlook Express. How can I fix this so that
Outlook XP is used all the time?

Many thanks for any help.

Open Windows Explorer and click Tools>Folder Options>File Types. Locate the
URL:MailTo Protocol file type, select it, and click Advanced. The Actions
field should contain "open". Select it and click Edit. In the "Application
used to perform action" field, enter:

"C:\Program Files\\Microsoft Office\Office10\Outlook.exe" -c IPM.Note /m
"%1"

Include the quotes and spaces. Check the "Use DDE" box, enter OUTLOOK in
the Application field, "System" in the Topic field and click OK. Click OK
again.

If "open" wasn't in the "Actions" box, add it with "New" and enter the
values described above.
