Outlook 2000 and Hotmail

Are there any plans to support Outlook 2000 retrieving and
sending messages from my Hotmail account?

I can do this with my Sympatico account . Why can't I do
this with Hotmail?

Because Outlook 2000 doesn't support HTTP mail. Either upgrade to Outlook
2002 or Outlook 2003 or use a third party tool like Hotmail Popper

I don't think OL2000 works with Hotmail.
