not reconized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch
file???
From the run command tells me to search for the file, not found...any thing

I am having the same problem as of last night. I came home to a blue screen,
re-booted, had a few problems, ulimately got onto the desk top where
everything appeared normal. I attempted to open Outlook 2007 and got the same
error message (I am assuming)

"Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook window. The
set of folders cannot be opened. Errors have been detected in the file
C:\Users\My Name\AddData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook.pst. Quit Outlook
and all mail-enabled applications, and the ise the Inbox repair tool
)Scanpst.exe) to diagnose and repair errors in the file. For more information
about the Inbox repair tool, see Help."

I have searched everywhere possible, that file does not exist on my computer
and neither does the Inbox repair tool. I ran an office diagnostics which
revealed nothing and did not fix anything either. I tried reloading Office, I
tried repairing office all after restring back to two different dates.... I
have done it all. I am lost. If you find a solution, I would love to know.

It should be on your Start Menu under Microsoft Office>Microsoft Office
Tools (or just Microsoft Office Tools) as "Inbox Repair Tool". Even if you
don't see it there, it's %ProgramFiles%\Microsoft
Office\Office12\scanpst.exe
