Outlined Numbered List in Word 2007

Hi

I need to create the following structure in 2007:

1. TEST(Bold, Underline)

1.1 Test (Bold Underline)

1.1.1 Test (Underline)

(a) Test

I have nine levels. I then need to create a Toolbar with buttons which will
apply the numbering to text. All straight forward in XP but am struggling to
find the right menus in 2007!

In Word 2007, you can create a list style (via Home tab | Multilevel List
button). The list style will then be listed under the "List Styles" heading,
which makes it easy to (re-)apply it to text. (You can modify an existing
list by right-clicking it and choosing Modify from the context menu.)

Or you can create numbering attached to paragraph styles as in previous
versions of Word. Click the Home tab, click Multilevel List and then choose
the option to define multilevel numbering. For more on the options available,
see http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/numbering/OutlineNumbering.html.

The safest approach is actually to combine these approaches: create a list
style whose numbering levels are attached to styles.
