Outgoing Outlook trouble after update

When sending mail from Outlook 2003 I incur 2 pop ups. 1st with "CIB" header
says "Please wait while Windows configures CIB". 2nd box header is "Setup"
and says "The MSI must be launched through set up". Each time I have had to
click on that tab 6 times to get it off screen to send each email. How can it
be fixed? Grateful for any help!!

I am sorry. I thought the XP Performance was what was being hindered.

Did you ever find the answer to this problem? I'm having the same issue.

I'm having the same problem with Outlook Express 6. I posted the same
question on the microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress
board and got a few responses,
mostly having to do with possible viruses. I did deep virus scans, d/l most
of the things they
suggested, but my machine comes out clean of any viruses, spyware, adware...
but continues
doing the exact same thing you describe. I also have to click those
messages off 6 times
before I send each e-mail.

Have you found a solution to the problem yet?

Do you also have Microsoft Office installed?

Is Outlook Express ste to be your default email handler? In Outlook
Express select Tools, Options, General?

Researching further suggests you have or had a problem with Norton 360!
