When replying/composing a email I attempt to send and the email is moved to
the outbox and does not get sent. I have had the program working previously
but has just now started having these problems. I can receive emails just
wont allow me to send. Any help is much appreciated

Can you either delete the oldest message in the Outbox or move it to the
Drafts folder, then restart Windows Mail?

If not, download and install this fix, with Windows Mail not running:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/941090

Although it's labelled as for mail stuck in the Outbox, it also works in
other folders. If you don't know whether to use the 32-bit version or
the 64-bit version, try the 32-bit version first. Certain common
antivirus programs, such as most of those from Norton or McAfee,
or a recent one from Trend, tend to cause such problems, although
seldom immediately, so if you have such a program, remember where
to find the fix - you are likely to need it again.

Thank you for your help Robert; however, I have not been able to resolve this
problem.

You are right about the last message in my outbox it is displaying an error
message just as explained in the link you gave me. I am unable to move/delete
this message. I went ahead and downloaded/installed the plug-in and restarted
windows mail. But still wouldn't let me delete the message. I then restarted
my system and still not working..

Did you try both the 32-bit version of the fix and the 64-bit version? One
of
them will just refuse to install, but which one depends on whether you have
a
32-bit or a 64-bit version of Windows.

I initially installed the 32 bit version as you suggessted. It successfully
installed apparently. When this didnt work I tried installing the 64 bit
version.. it went through the install before saying "the lastest version of
the plug-in is already installed"

I'm out of ideas, then.

Thanks for your help Robert. I found the fix in the link you sent under the
section further resolutions.. I had to go into the store folder and delete a
number of files. Then restart the application which automatically retrieves
the lost inbox msgs and others.
