I am in the process of sending an email to a friend of mine using Outlook
and this email contains an attachment. However I did not realize the size
of the attachment 17Mb.

It has started to send but I now want to delete the email and not send it
but it will not delete.

I have tried closing Outlook and restarting my pc again but can not find a
way of deleting the email.

How do I remove this email from my Outbox?

Click File and check Work Offline. Close and then restart Outlook. Delete
the message. Click File and uncheck Work Offline.

Answered here every day and a simple search would have been worth your
while.

Click File and check Work Offline. Stop and restart Outlook. You should be
able to delete the message now. Click File and uncheck Work Offline.
