When a friend of mine write and send a message in Outlook 2003, (he DOES
click send) the message appears in the outbox for splits of seconds as being
sent (written in Italic), but instantly transforms the text to normal text
and it will appear that the "message is not send", as if it has been closed
without sending.
Anyone for a solution?
To send his messages, he has to connect to the internet (dial-up) and open
each mail to send them again by clicking send in the mail-header. The message
will then go! I hope someone is up for an answer...

I have a similar problem. The item is instantly taken out of italics and then
sits there and does not go.

It appears to be the first item in a batch of emails, as as long as there is
one in a non sending state others appear to go alright. This happens whether
you craete a new mail address, use an existing address from contacts or reply
to emails recieved.

I have removed all email accounts, exchange and POP3 and put them back again
and fiddled with every setting i can see and still it happens. It is very
very annoying so any suggestions would be greatly appreciatted.

Thanks

I am getting this problem as well, I fixed it for about 2 weeks following
insturctions from another thread but alas it has returned. Anyone got any
ideas??
