I use Outlook 2003 in MS Office Professional; XP Professional system on my
PC; and a home network system. Two weeks ago, Outlook began refusing to send
mail and to receive mail. However, another computer on the home network
system with the very same parameters (Outlook 2003 in MS Office Professional
and XP Professional system) with e-mail accounts identically configured works
just fine.

I tried uninstalling Outlook 2003 and reinstalling same, but that has not
corrected the problem. Obviously something on my desktop is getting in the
way. What do I do to trouble shoot?

What do you have installed on that computer that interacts with Outlook?
Norton? McAfee? Firewall? Seems that a recent Norton update blocks Outlook
mail. I would check those settings.
