out of office

i am running exchange 5.5 and outlook 2002 on my clients

as the admin, is their some way for me to set out of office for people
remotely?

If you use OWA, you or they can set it from there. You can't set it on the
server itself - it has to be done from a client that opens that mailbox
directly.

<snicker> Amusingly put. :)

However, if it's a long message, I snip, and if need be, I post replies
inline, which is better than either top or bottom. Top posting is common
practice in the MS newsgroups, as you will see if you're in here a lot. We
all have to adapt. Personally I prefer top posting in a lot of cases as I
don't have to scroll down to the bottom of a long message (particularly if
people haven't snipped) to see the reply...I've already read the old stuff!

come in handy sooner or later :-D
