Out of Office. The command is not available

When I try to use the Out of Office tool in Outlook 2002,
I get the following message, "The command is not
available. See the program documentation about how to
use this extension". I searched the support pages at
Microsoft and found an article that mentions the exact
problem (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?
scid=kb;en-us;327353#appliesto), but the key it mentions,
Resiliency, is not present.

Does anyone have any suggestions.

Windows XP SP1, Outlook XP SP2.

You need to be connected to Exchange in order to have the Out of Office
Assistant.

I found the solution. In Outlook Help, click about, then
click the 'Disabled items' button. Re-
enable 'outex.dll', then restart outlook.

In Brian Tillman typed:

But if you don't have Exchange you can also do it with "Message Rules"
under the tools menu. (See my reply to KarenL.)
