Out of Office Rules

I'm trying to stop large emails being sent to me whilst I'm out of the office
and on a 3G/GPRS connection. I've added a rule to myout of office which
deletes ant email > 1000k and this appears to work ok. My proble lies with
the "reply with ...teplate" option.
I've created a template, with a message saying "please send at a later time
etc." however when a message meets the rule criteria, it is deleted but the
template message is not sent. I'm assuming this is because the "to" field in
the template message is blank.

Does anyone know how to set this template "to" field to return the template
message to the sender?

First, this should work. You don't need to populate the To: field to reply
with a template.

You could try separating this into two rules, one to send the reply then
another to delete the message - just make sure they're in the right order!

Lastly, if you're using Outlook 2003, have you considered running in Cached
Exchange mode and setting Outlook to download only headers on slow
connections? I work over 3G and this works pretty well for me.
