out of office response to junk mail

My colleague has gone on holiday and has set an out of office auto response.
Does anybody know if this will be sent in response to emails that are
delivered to the junk email folder?

Then default setting of the Exchange Out of Office is NOT to reply to emails
sent from outside the domain...so unless your exchange admin has changed
this (and many are very reluctant to do so for that very reason), then it
won't send a response to "junk" email...
