Out of office asssistant.

I'm running a sbs2003 server and the clients are running outlook 2003. I'm
having a weird problem where the Out of Office Assistant works internally but
not to people externally. Anyone ever see this problem before?

I believe this is normal since Exchange 2003 (standard and enterprise) has
the feature turned off by default. In turning it on, the site will need to
accept that with it in, it could introduce mail loops.

If you want to see if the feature is on, open Exchange System Manager and go
to Global Settings > Internet Message Format > Right click on default and
select properties > advanced tab

1) Make sure that they are *not* connecting to the Microsoft Exchange server
via POP3/IMAP.

2) Make sure that the Exchange extensions and property sheets are set to
load under Tools > Options > Other > Advanced Options > Addin Manager.

3) Make sure that the Exchange extensions and property sheets didn't get
disabled. See Help > About Microsoft Outlook > Disabled Items
