Out of Office Assistant notification / reminder

I am runing Outlook 2007, Windows XP Pro, Exchange 2003. When I have Out of
Office assistant turned on and someone sends me an email, in addition to them
receiving my out of office notification they also receive a reminder (like a
calendar appointment reminder, but instead of a calendar icon it’s a message
icon).

I have tested this with people who use Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007.

Any thoughts?

Sorry should have mentioned that. There are no rules set. Wondering if its
something to do with my profile?? but unsure where/how to check this.
