I have just up graded from Office 2000 to 2007; now when I start up and log
in my computer. My profile now comes up it shows that I have over 200 unread
e-mails. I don’t have any unread e-mails. How do I turn that feature off, or
at least get it to update!

Um, would this "count" be in Outlook or in the default Fisher-Price
"Welcome Screen" to login? If the latter, read
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/304148.

I hope this helps,
Yes it is at the very first start up screen after turning on the computer.
my wife and I share a home computer, my profile is the main one. when the
screen comes up and shows her account and mine. since I posted this message
the 200 plus message conunt has been reset to 40 new. even though there are
less than 20 total and no unread in my outlook in box.
