Hi,
This error usually refers to the trouble with the smtp
settings in your Outlook express
Just open Outlook express
Click on Tools menu
Select accounts
Click on mail tab
You should see an email account there
Highlight the account and click on properties on the right
side
Click on server tab now
then you should see Space for "outgoing mail smtp
Here you should enter your ISP's smtp address
for instance it can be smtp.aol.com
If you dont know the smtp address of your isp
Contact your isp, they should be able to give you the info

Check if your SMTP server is typed in correctly. With OE open, go to Tools
Accounts. Highlight the problem account and select Properties > Server.

Check with your ISP and see if they are experiencing any trouble.

Besides the fact that you copied the error number incorrectly, turn off
email scanning in your anti-virus. It provides no added protection.
