to add to roady's comment, this setting applies to the new unicode pst file
format. if you are bring a pst over from an earlier revision of outlook,
the same old limits apply. (legacy pst files are sometimes referred as ansi
or outlook 97 - 2002 pst files.)
What if i add my Old PST file of (OL 2000 or 2002) in OutLook 2003 as an Archive folder and start using new unicode PST file for recieving/sending mails....bc i wanna keep my old PSTs for reference....
The old .PST would still have the old ANSI 2GB limit, while the new .PST
would have the new Unicode limit. You don't need to keep the old .PST
actively open in Outlook all the time, though...just keep it somewhere handy
and open it when needed using Outlook's File | Open | Outlook Data File
command.

Thanks for your suggestion but i just want to use old PST files of OutLook 2000 in OutLook 2003 as an archive Folder for reference only and will use new PST file created by OUTLOOK 2003 for sending and recieving mails.
The thing is that i have no. of users in my office who have the same querry and i know that they will not like the solution you gave bc they only know how to send or recieve emails and attaching a file is the Limit( i m sure that you will understand my problem).
Because it would be a very simple job for me to add Old PSTas an Archive folder in their new OutLook 2003 and allow them to increase their OutLook 2003 PST file size as much as they can
querry and i know that they will not like the solution you gave bc they only
