ou policy

Hi there,

I am trying to setup policy for users in an ou that i have
created. As far as i understand the ou policy takes
precedence over the default domain policy. However when i
change administative templates on the ou policy to stop
things like the run option appearing on the start menu,
the option still remains when the user logs on. Am i
missing something, or do i have to do something else? Any
help would be great.
Cheers in advance.

"ou policy takes precedence over the default domain policy" in conflicts.
You can use the option No Override to make sure particular policy not
beginning overwritten from a Higher-level object, or a higher ordered GPO

GPOs apply in the following order, the last one (closest to the object)
takes precedence if a conflict occurs:
1. Local
2. Site
3. Domain
4. OU

Also, computer settings will take precedence over user settings.

Yes, a higher-level GPO can take precedence if the option "No Override" is
set? Right?

User settings take precedence over computer settings in a Group Policy Loop
back processing mode :)
