Otlook 2002 - Reply hanging

Anyone met this one before?

On replying to a message the Reply window hangs. As a workaround, switching
away and then
back (Alt-Tab x 2 or any other method) clears the hang.

Any fixes will be gratefully accepted.

Outlook version and environment (Exchange, POP3, etc.)? Any Add-Ins or rules
