On my system, the only newsgroup that shows under the Microsoft Communities
heading is the microsoft.public.windows.vista.mail group. How do I view
and/or subscribe to other windows.vista groups?

Click on Microsoft Communities, then Tools, then Newsgroups..., then type
windows.vista, then go down the list to the one you want, click on it, and
then
click on Subscribe. Note that many on the list are in other languages.

With Microsoft Communities highlighted in the folder pane, Menu (Alt if not
visible) > Tools > Newsgroups, press the "Reset List" button.

Robert,

Thanks for the quick reply. You pointed me in the right direction. I also
had to click the Reset List button to show all the newsgroups. This provided
me a few more groups than the one I was seeing before.

Use your newsreader on your Windows Mail and type in Vista in the search box and then you will see all the Vista groups. You have set up Windows Mail as a newsreader have you not? Or are you trying to find it on the Web which is a not very good way on finding newsgroups
