As a web designer I am asked if others within a group can
post information to the website, i.e. a website on
coaches and each coach (they all have individual pages)
wants the ability to add info or edit info to their page.

My quick answer would be that they need FP in order to
access and change content.

And my question to you is: can someone who does not have
FP make an edit within an FP designed site?

Thank you.

Yes, it is possible. I would not let them put their new
pages onto the site though. I would have them do whatever
they wanted to the page and then send that page to you, so
you can import it into your FP web and publish it. If you
let them FTP the pages you risk breaking the FPSE

you may be able to use a Content Management System, like ContentSeed. Chris Leeds who posts here on the ng developed it. It's pretty cool and easy too...may be just the ticket for you.

I don't have the URL but I think it's listed as an Add In for Frontpage on MS's website in Office Frontpage Add-Ins.
