It's easy for you to make a bootable CD out of a non bootable one if you
know how.

But knowing how takes a bit of work.

This is a great place to learn about bootable CD's.

Hmm, something's odd, the English Win98 CD IS bootable.

What you could do, is create a Win98 Startup disc (floppy) then use
Nero, Roxio EasyCD, etc, to create a bootable CDR using the Win98
Startup Disc as the floppy, and including the \win98 folder on the
CDR... It'll boot to a DOS prompt, at which point you'd run
\win98\setup.exe, or edit the autoexec.bat file on the Win98 Startup
disc to include the "\win98\setup.exe" line at the end, using the
examples on the startup disc for the variable to use to specify the
CDROM drive for the appropriate drive letter (or a "path"
statement)... is easier to just type it manually after booting to DOS
prompt.
