Forgive me if I've missed it being mentioned but an *intriguing* search
engine is

http://www.scroogle.org/cgi-bin/scraper.htm

which "scrapes" google searches. Essentially, it returns google
searches w/o cookies, crumbs, ads, et al -in part- by using proxies.

We are offering a free list of search engines, directories, vertical
SE/DIR, and other resources at www.best-free-search-engine-list.com.

We currently have about 1,300 resources listed, and our category #7 has
a number of sites that also offer this type of information, so if you
need more than our list provides you can find many, many others.

The lists are updated monthly and we are the only site that I am aware
of that provides the lists in 7 different formats, including ASCII
delimited, for people to download, import into applications, submit
their sites, or use as web content(please note the terms of use...).

Suggestions and corrections for the list are welcome and there is
contact information on the site. The other URL that works is
www.bfsel.com.
