OT: photocopy machine question

Since I couldn't find any forums for questions about
copier machines or related office equipment I thought
I might ask here.
I have a small Canon photocopier for which I am tired
of buying expensive copier toner cartridges. I have
seen "universal refill kits" for around $29.95 and I
wanted to know if anyone here might have used any of
these, and if so do they work properly?
