[OT?} Making a Calendar?

I've used Outlook once some time ago. I'd like to make a calendar for
the year. Will Outlook do it? I would like 2 or 4 months a page. Is
there a way to show moon phases or national holidays?

you can print 12 months, 4 per page but outlook doesn't have a yearly
calendar option. If you want the moon phases or holidays, you need to add
them. Outlook includes holidays info you can install (tools, options,
calendar options, add holidays) but you'll need to install moon phases from
other sources. See http://www.slipstick.com/addins/calendar_dates.asp for
links to sources.

Thanks, I think I'll try Outlook first.

So much for that idea. My student version doesn't have it on Win7, so
off to other approaches.

Yeah, outlook doesn't come in the student and home version. Honestly, if you
just need a printed calendar, there are better options. Actually, a word
template would work, it just won't suck in Outlook data. There are some at
office online.

office.microsoft.com or office.com for people who don't like to type -
look in the Templates section.
Why those links? I have the student version of 2007, and that seems the
offer at office.com. I'm W7. I just discovered I have MS Works somehow
(via student Office?). It has a calendar program. Where do I find
templates in Works or otherwise?

Because Microsoft publishes a template section there and there are several;
calendar templates for Word (and publisher), probably some for Excel.

AFAIK, Work's calendar doesn't have templates and I don't think you can
export the calendar for use in word.
