OT: Laptop Battery

is there anyway that i can extend the life of my battery i have a sony vaio
pcgfrv25 i dont even get an hour and it is frustrating what is the point of
a lapt? i have tried power optons and dont know what to do

Depends on the type of battery. What type of battery are you using? NiCad?
NiMh? Lead acid?

If you have already consulted your Sony laptop manual to learn about
power options and how to conserve battery life, the battery may be
defective. If it's still under warranty, give Sony tech support a
call.
