OT::: Kas 7 and comodo firewall

Just today I upgraded to Kas 7 AV, it told me that My comodo firewall was not
compatable with it, and it had to be removed before Kas would install,
anybody know why? is Kas internet security worth the bucks, to go from just
AV to the internet security package, I see that it also incorporates
malware, spyware scans and malicious script, is there anyway to get comodo to
work with Kas 7
I did read up on their forum, but not anough time to read up in detail, so I
can be informed like I want.

Yes, Kaspersky is a great product! It also runs a firewall, which is
why I would suspect it's not compatible with comodo. If you prefer to
use comodo as your firewall, just disable the anti-hacker/firewall in
kaspersky, then you should have no conflicts. If you require further
help installing, call the good folks at kaspersky tech support, as I
find them to be real helpful.

Kaspersky, like a lot of other application software, is a "great product,"
if it works for "you."

My pretty "well maintained" ...uncluttered, and competely unproblematic XP
Home ed, SP2 fully updated, didn't like Kaspersky Internet Security Suite at
all when I tried it last year. It would have taken far too long to have
pinned down what it didn't like !
All application software seems to occasionally hit a system it doesn't like,
and when it happens one can't help suspecting that beta-testing could have
been just a little more extensive !

regards, Richard

Fair enough. I just replied because Kaspersky works well for me. YMMV
certainly.
