I don't think so.

If the machines are configured via DHCP, they should all have addresses in
the same range. If they somehow were configured so that they were not in
the same range, Benoit would not be able to reach the router via HTTP or
telnet--and he CAN reach the router--he just doesn't see what he expects to
see, as I understand it.

I am asking you. My router came with software that allows me to install -
right? Then later I decide that better I let Windows Networking do the job. I
did this thru `My Network Places` on desktop. Have you done this? Are you on
Windows or Unix?

i don't know who handling events, i think windows ?
but i change nothing for years and now for a month 1 pc upon the 4 can go
"normaly" to the router. "normaly" because the 4 reach the router but 3 don't
see the menu.

therefore i am in windows ;-) not unix

I compared the pc's, but I can find no differences .. very strange ...

What versions of Windows on the machines? Have you done any "tuning" of the
networking on the other machines?

1 desktop xp sp2 don't work
1 desktop vista (new) don't work
1 laptop xp sp2 don't work

1 laptop vista WORK !

the (new) desktop vista replace an old desktop xp sp2

Before the replacement, the 4 pc functionning well. I never tried since the
replacement and so I do not know if it worked.
The 3 who's not working have Spybot those, who work, no.
i uninstall S&D on one but it still does not work.
i compare the IE options (security and advanced) from the 4 and i see no
difference

for the tunning ? i install the new pc and windows do the rest. For the
rest i never touch the network. But if you have a idea i will try ;-)
