I had a yahoo account that was an international one, meaning that it was not
..com
but especially for my country.

I wanted to transform my username into a .com account but I could not, so I
thought I would
delete the international account and reregister for the .com account.

So I went and deleted the account and now I cannot re-register with the same
user ID.

Question: Will the account name be available in the future, since no one is
using it?
So I can reregister with the same account name, but now choose a .com
address for email?

You should really ask Yahoo. They are most familiar with what their system
will and won't do. People here are most familiar with Windows XP not Yahoo
email.

Ok I did.. I found a yahoo abuse email and sent there,.

You know that yahoo doesnt have many emails or ways to report problems.
They have a lot of "self help" information and forms online, but when you
need
something that cannot be done with those, its hard to find a way to contact
them.

I can imagine why it is like that. They must get thousands of support
requests each day.

SO I am just hoping they will reply to my email.

You think by posting O.T. for "Off Topic" that it's going to get you a
better answer? You've already been told to contact Yahoo several
times. Why not ask Yahoo support instead of posting the same question
here over and over? Are you somehow not able to read your replies?
Or are you choosing to ignore them?

I have posted only once. I have sent emails to yahoo. I want additional
input
from others that may have some prior experience.
I also put OT in front, thus I am correct and you are not.

Or perhaps you are playing "netcops" today?

Hello, No experience with Yahoo but with several other services. All had a
period of 3 months before a used name was available.
Take Care.

Putting "OT" in front of your post does not make you correct. Anyway,
I see you finally got an answer from Yahoo - where you should have
gone in the first place.

My mistake, it was a different post. Anyway, you should continue to
pursue the answer from Yahoo.
