OT: Alcohol 120%

i have recently downloaded this program because it was supposed to enable me
to make a cd image of a proteced cd so that i may make a back up cd

how everit does not work i set it on the safelock setting and it just kept
getting read errors and got nowhere on progress

any help would be appreciated

Have you tried their technical support?

You have to let it keep going, reading the errors. It's part of the process
of copying protected media. Depending on your machine, your reader, and the
CD it can take anywhere from minutes to hours to read all the errors (though
telling the program to fix the errors defeats the purpose). What you are
trying to do is make an exact duplicate, errors (purposely put there) and
all.
