Vista DRM & Alcohol 120%

Hey all,

seeing how I will be needing to switch to Vista in the near future I
have one major concern regarding its DRM stuff since I have no
experience yet in dealing with it.

I get a lot of content from Japan, CDs & DVDs which generally are not
all that easy to get and usually relatively "expensive" to obtain. As
such, I try to make sure my originals do not get scratched or
otherwise damaged so I keep images on my hard drives to use via
alcohol 120%'s virtual CD/DVD drive.

Also has the added bonus of no CD Swapping!

Question is, the DRM stuff in Vista going to give me any problems with
this thinking that the CD Images are not legal or whatever?

Thanks in advance,

It would depend on the content. If it's not protected content now, which it
sounds like it's not, then DRM doesn't come into play at all.

Vista isn't really doing anything new with existing content, it's just
providing the infrastructure for using DRM mechanisms that are either
non-existent or rarely used today due to lack of compatible equipment.
