OT - advice on changing host

Hi

I want to move my site to another host.

Does anyone know how this will effect my search engine placement?

Do I have to reregister the site and start all over, or is it a seamless
transition?

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe as long as you are using
your own domain (i.e., http://www.stephen.com), this shouldn't have any
effect at all.

However, if you are a subdomain at your isp (i.e.,
http://members.yourisp.net/stephen/ ), then yeah, your search engine links
will go dead.
