OST or possible PST corruption.

I have a user that can not open outlook i have recreated
his profile and offline file. His outlook will be fine for
a while and then it will fail to open connected or offline.
I tried a number of things from prefmon to cleaning and
defragging his system. Any help would be appreciated.

No, error message in the logs or pop up errors. The
application will just hang and when you kill the process
that is when the problem begins. After that point you can
not open outlook, until you create another profile or
recreate the OST file.
